(Worthy News) – Millions of people across the country are set to endure freezing temperatures as Christmas fast approaches.
Much of the Midwest and the eastern United States will experience temperatures in the low single digits as an Arctic air mass makes its way south, according to the National Weather Service’s Weather Prediction Center. An estimated 55 million people are set to see temperatures of zero degrees Fahrenheit or below over the next seven days, per Axios.
“A frigid Arctic airmass will plunge southward throughout this week, bringing dangerously cold temps & wind chills across the Central & Eastern U.S.,” the agency tweeted. [ Source: Washington Examiner (Read More…) ]
