(Worthy News) – Doubling down on past virulently anti-semitic statements, the leader of the Lebanese Iran-backed Hezbollah terror organization said at the weekend that the Middle East will work tirelessly until the “cancerous gland” that is Israel has been removed from the region, the Jerusalem Post reports.

Hezbollah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah made his statement on Saturday morning, amid tensions on Israel’s border with Lebanon: the Israeli military recently struck sites in Lebanon after an anti-tank missile was fired from Lebanon toward the village of Ghajar, which is split by the Blue Line with half in Israel and half in Lebanon.

In his statement Saturday, Nasrallah said that Palestinians “believe more than ever in the resistance and on the axis of resistance,” JPost reports. Nasrallah added that Hezbollah “stands by the Palestinians with everything we possess,” and that the Lebanese resistance to Israel “will not be complacent and will not abandon its responsibilities of protection or deterrence.”

Concerning the recent visit to the Temple Mount by Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir’s Temple Mount visit on Tisha Be’Av, Nasrallah attested that “the enemy must hear a decisive stance from all Muslims.”

Addressing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his statement, Nasrallah said: “[We] will be ready for any choice, and to face any mistake or foolishness,” JPost reports.
