RIYADH/JERUSALEM (Worthy News) – Iran’s president effectively called for the destruction of Israel and the extermination of Jews and urged Muslim nations “to arm Palestinians” if “Israel’s attacks” continue.

Ebrahim Raisi spoke Saturday while an emergency summit of Arab and Muslim leaders was underway in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, where he and others tried to formulate a strategy for ending the Israel-Hamas war.

It marked the first visit to Saudi Arabia by an Iranian head of state since Tehran and Riyadh ended years of hostility under a China-brokered deal in March.

Raisi, whose country bankrolls Hamas and other groups seeking the destruction of Israel, said that “the only solution” to the conflict is a Palestinian state from the “river to the sea.”

It was part of the slogan: “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free,” seen as an antisemitic slogan by several Western governments.

Ahead of the gathering, he suggested that the war could become a major international conflict if the United States continued supporting Israel.

“America says it doesn’t want an expansion of the war and has sent messages to Iran and several countries [to this effect]. But these statements are not consistent with America’s actions,” Raisi added in televised comments at Tehran airport, praising anti-Israel protests across Western Europe.

WAR MACHINE

“The war machine in Gaza is in the hands of America, which is preventing a ceasefire in Gaza and expanding the war. The world must see the true face of America,” Raisi said. “Gaza is not an arena for words. It should be for action.”

In separate remarks, Hassan Nasrallah, leader of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah group, said his fighters are using heavier weaponry in exchanges with Israel across the Israeli-Lebanese border.

He warned that the “final victory is coming, coming, coming” and urged Muslims to “Pray that Allah will bring victory to the Gazans from above and shorten the time for it.”

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan even urged Muslim countries to ark Palestinians if Israel’s actions continue.

He spoke as pressure mounted on Israel to launch a ceasefire despite Israeli concerns that it would give Hamas the ability to rearm.

French President Emmanuel Macron told Britain’s broadcaster there was “no justification” for the bombing of Gaza and ended off-script urging Israel to “stop killing” women and babies.

“De facto – today, civilians are bombed – de facto. These babies, these ladies, these old people are bombed and killed. So, there is no reason for that and no legitimacy. So we do urge Israel to stop,” he said.

BURNING BABIES

His remarks came just five weeks after Hamas burnt, beheaded, and otherwise killed babies, toddlers, women, and men in the worst recorded atrocity against Jews since the Holocaust, also known as the Shoah in Hebrew.

Journalists in recent days watched extensive horrific video footage detailing the atrocities committed by Hamas fighters, with many crying and unable to describe all details publicly.

Germany Chancellor Olaf Scholz backed Israel’s right to defend itself after Israel revised its death toll from the Hamas attack on October 7, putting the figure at about 1,200 from 1,400.

Israeli authorities said it discovered that some of the casualties belonged to Hamas, which Israel has pledged to destroy.

The remarks came as a further 30,000 people left areas in northern Gaza for the south on Friday, according to data released Saturday.

“Only” about 30 more aid trucks managed to cross the border from Egypt, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said. Israel has expressed concern that aid arrives at Hamas, which it also accuses of hiding among civilians.
