U.S. Debt Skyrocketing – $2.45 Trillion Since Thanksgiving 2022

(Worthy News) – The U.S. Treasury reports that the federal government’s debt has risen by $2,452,444,126,108.25 since the previous Thanksgiving.
The total current U.S. federal debt now stands at $33,786,477,536,673.08, translating to roughly $100,625.10 per person for the country’s 335,765,877 individuals and approximately $208,976.45 for each of its 161,676,000 workers.
The United States is currently spending more to pay the interest payments on debt on national defense.
In the initial month of the ongoing fiscal year, the Treasury spent $88.9 billion to service the debt interest, while at the same time spent $83.4 billion on the military.
