(Worthy News) – More than 200 active duty and retired US service members have published an open letter calling for the Biden administration and top military leaders to be held to account, including court-martial where appropriate, for engaging in “lawlessness” and “unwilling experimentation on service members” by forcing them to take the COVID-19 vaccination or be fired, the Daily Mail reports.

Titled ‘An Open Letter to the American People from Signatories of this Declaration of Military Accountability,’ the letter was signed by 231 service members and published on Jan. 1.

Declaring their intent to do everything they can to get accountability, the service members said in their letter: ‘While implementing the COVID-19 vaccine mandate, military leaders broke the law, trampled constitutional rights, denied informed consent, permitted unwilling medical experimentation, and suppressed the free exercise of religion,’ the letter states.

Going on to name specific individuals, including GEN Milley, whom they hold responsible, the service members’ letter continues: “These individuals enabled lawlessness and the unwilling experimentation on service members. The moral and physical injuries they helped inflict are significant. They betrayed the trust of service members and the American people. Their actions caused irreparable harm to the Armed Forces and the institutions for which we have fought and bled.”

Noting that none of the leaders they named have resigned or taken “other action to hold themselves accountable,” the service members said they “give their word” to do everything “morally possible and legally possible” to bring about the accountability they desire to see. “We intend to rebuild trust by demonstrating that leaders cannot cast aside constitutional rights or the law for political expediency,” the service members said.
