TEHRAN, IRAN (Worthy News)– Yet another convert and member of a house church was arrested along with many other Christians in Esfahan, according to the Iranian Christian news agency, Mohabat News.

Security authorities arrested Majid Enayat in his workplace as part of a larger sweep of Christians also arrested on Feb. 22.

Enayat was previously arrested and interrogated when he returned from Turkey in 2009; he was released the same day after signing a disclaimer.

However, after this latest arrest, security authorities went to Enayat’s home and seized some of his personal property, including movies of his recent wedding ceremony, which authoities may use to help identify their Christian friends.

Days later, Enayat’s wife was also brought in for interrogation, but she hasn’t seen her husband since; unconfirmed reports indicate that Enayat is being held with other religious prisoners in the Alef-Ta ward of Dastgerd Prison.

Prior to the arrest of Christians in Esfahan, authorities arrested many others during separate raids in Ahwaz, Shiraz and Tehran.
