WASHINGTON, D.C. (Worthy News) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to meet President Donald Trump at the White House on Tuesday as the two leaders confront critical decisions over Iran, Gaza and the broader security landscape across the Middle East.

Netanyahu is expected to travel to Washington on Monday. The meeting will be his first face-to-face discussion with Trump since the United States and Israel entered the escalating conflict with Iran earlier this year.

Iran is expected to dominate the talks. Netanyahu reportedly plans to present Trump with Israeli intelligence concerning Tehran’s efforts to restore its nuclear capabilities and rebuild strategic military infrastructure damaged during the conflict.

The meeting comes as Trump weighs whether to resume or expand military operations against Iran while continuing to leave open the possibility of a negotiated settlement. Netanyahu has consistently urged Washington to maintain maximum pressure on Tehran and prevent the Islamic Republic from rebuilding its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

The leaders are also expected to discuss the future of Gaza. Israel’s security cabinet recently approved allowing an international stabilization force to begin operating in portions of the territory under Trump’s ceasefire framework, though Hamas has yet to disarm and significant questions remain over Gaza’s long-term governance and security.

Netanyahu will also attend funeral services for longtime pro-Israel Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham during his visit to Washington. Graham was widely regarded as one of Israel’s strongest allies in Congress.

Tuesday’s meeting could prove consequential as Trump considers the next phase of American policy toward Iran and Israel seeks firm assurances that Tehran will not be permitted to recover from the damage inflicted upon its military and nuclear infrastructure.
