Israel Continues Operation Brother’s Keeper, 25 Arrested Thursday Night

JERUSALEM, ISRAEL (Worthy News)– On Thursday night, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continued its Operation Brother’s Keeper in search for three teenagers kidnapped last week.  The overnight raids resulted in the arrest of 25 Palestinians in the West Bank bringing the total of suspects held to 330, 240 of whom are associated with Hamas.

During the raids, the IDF faced “sporadic confrontations, which included IED’s, hand grenades, Molotov cocktails, fireworks and rocks that were hurled at the forces,” according to an IDF statement.

A teenager was reportedly killed by IDF fire in Dura near Hebron during an overnight raid, Palestinian media reported.

An IDF soldier was lightly injured due to a hand grenade thrown at him during clashes at the Qalandiya refugee camp north of Jerusalem.

Over the past week, terrorists have fired 15 rockets into Israel. Last night, two rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip, one hit an open field, while another was intercepted by the Iron Dome Missile Defense System.

In retaliation, Israel Air Forces (IAF) targeted three concealed rocket launchers, and a weapons storage facility in the Gaza Strip.
