Atheists Placing Anti-Xmas Messages Near Nativities
By Joseph DeCaro, Worthy News Correspondent
CHICAGO (Worthy News)– Atheists in Illinois intend to place secular public displays near nativity scenes this Christmas, according to TheBlaze.
The Chicago chapter of the Freedom From Religion Foundation has already posted a large, illuminated scarlet “A” — standing for “Atheist” — along with banners celebrating the winter solstice and the Bill of Rights in Chicago’s Daley Center Plaza.
FFRF has also collaborated with the Chicago Coalition of Reason to distribute a multitude of secular messages to outnumber all the religious symbols commemorating Christmas.
Among the messages will be a banner that asks: “Are you good without God? Millions are!”
