Mosul churches become ISIS slaughter houses

(Worthy News) – Churches in Iraq were turned into animal slaughterhouses by ISIS during the Islamic Festival of Sacrifice.
According to International Christian Concern, eight churches in Mosul have been used for the ritual slaughter of animals in accordance with Sharia.
After the city fell to ISIS on June 10, ISIS has occupied, destroyed or converted all of Mosul’s remaining churches into mosques, e.g., ISIS recently announced that the St. Ephrem Church will soon become the “mosque of the mujahideen.”
Nearly all Mosul’s Christians that fled the city and the surrounding villages of the Nineveh Plains don’t know if they will ever be able to return.
“The first condition is that there must be international protection for anybody returning,” wrote Nawzat Shamdeen in a report on Iraq’s Christians. “The second is that the Christians must be allowed to create their own semi-independent administrative entity.” But until then, Christians must decide whether to wait, or join the migrants heading towards Europe and the U.S.
