Israel, United States conduct unprecedented joint missile defense test
(Worthy News) – Israel and the United States recently completed a successful joint test of their militaries’ anti-missile systems for the first time in a drill simulating thousands of incoming projectiles from Iran and Lebanon, the Ynet news site reported on Wednesday.
The test utilized six systems – the Israeli Arrow 2, Arrow 3, and David’s Sling systems, and the American THAAD, Aegis, and Patriot systems.
“The test demonstrated the United States’ commitment for the protection of Israel as well as the interoperability between the United States and Israeli integrated defense system architecture,” the Israeli Ministry of Defense said in a press release. [ Source ]
