Heavy rain in Australia extinguishes major wildfire, causes flash flooding
(Worthy News) – After weeks of devastating wildfires, Australia’s east coast is now experiencing major flash flooding caused by downpours across the region.
While the rain is good news for fire-ravaged and drought-stricken areas, a severe weather warning was in effect Sunday along most of the New South Wales coast and parts of Queensland to the north.
