Israel, US successfully test Arrow 2 missile defense system

(Worthy News) – Israel and the United States completed a successful test of the advanced Arrow 2 missile defense system in Israel on Wednesday, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The system successfully intercepted a target missile simulating a long-range surface-to-surface missile carrying a warhead.
The platform was tested by the Defense Ministry’s Directorate of Defense Research and Development, known by the Hebrew acronym MAFAT, the Air Force, and the US Missile Defense Agency. The test was carried out late Wednesday night in central Israel with the assistance of Israel Aerospace Industries. [ Source: Times of Israel (Read More…) ]
