IAEA: Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile 10 times higher than limit set in 2015 deal


iran nuclear deal(Worthy News) – The UN’s nuclear watchdog said Friday that Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium has exceeded the limit set in its 2015 nuclear deal with world powers by more than 10 times.

According to French news agency AFP, the limit was set at 300 kilograms (661 pounds) of enriched uranium in a particular compound form, which is the equivalent of 202 kilograms (445 pounds) of uranium.

Iran’s stockpile now stands at over 2,105 kilograms (4,640 pounds), the International Atomic Energy Agency said. [ Source: Israel Hayom (Read More…) ]
