Trump calls for sweeping election reform, ID verification after irregularities in 2020
(Worthy News) – President Trump is calling for “landmark election reform,” including mandatory signature verification for absentee ballots, after a November contest that his campaign says was rife with irregularities.
“It’s a disgrace that in 2020, no state in America even makes any real attempt to verify that those who cast ballots by mail are eligible and lawfully registered voters,” Trump said Saturday night during a rally in Georgia to support two GOP Senate hopefuls who face a runoff on Jan. 5 that will determine control of that chamber of Congress.
“After we win, we need to pass landmark election reform, including voter ID,” he declared. “Is that so bad? Residency verification. Like, we live in the country, we live in the state. Citizenship confirmation.” [ Source: Just the News (Read More…) ]
