(Worthy News) – A Georgia County Superior Court judge indicated Monday that he may unseal the absentee ballots cast in the state’s Fulton County for an investigation into alleged fraud in the November 2020 general election, the Washington Examiner reports.

Henry County Superior Court Judge Brian Amero gave his indication in connection to a lawsuit filed by voting integrity activist Garland Favorito, who alleges fraudulent ballots were cast at Georgia’s State Farm Arena on November 3, 2020, the Examiner said.

During a hearing in the latest case on Monday, Judge Amero said there would need to be a plan in place for ensuring the security of the Fulton County ballots if the decision to unseal and audit them is taken. “We want to do this in such a way that dispels rumors and disinformation and sheds light,” Amero said. “The devil’s in the details,” the judge added.

According to official data, some 822,600 Fulton County active voters participated in the election. A number of lawsuits alleging voter fraud were filed in Georgia after the 2020 election, all of which were dismissed by the courts. State officials, including Republicans, have also dismissed claims of voter fraud in Georgia.

Georgia also went through a statewide risk-limiting audit following the November election, and eventually certified President Joe Biden’s victory.
