Washington urges Tehran to ‘quickly’ return to nuclear negotiations

(Worthy News) – The United States urged new Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Thursday to “quickly” resume negotiations on the suspended talks in Vienna regarding Iran’s nuclear program.
“For us, this is an urgent priority,” US State Department spokesman Ned Price told reporters. “This process cannot go on indefinitely,” he reiterated, refusing, however, to give an ultimatum.
“We urge Iran to return to the negotiating table quickly to try to conclude our work,” he said. “Our message to President Raisi is the same as our message to his predecessor:” “We hope that Iran now seizes the opportunity to find diplomatic solutions,” he added. [ Source: i24 (Read More…) ]
