Doctors among thousands who marched on Washington DC to protest vaccine mandates

(Worthy News) – Doctors were among thousands of people who took part in a march on Washington DC Sunday, in protest against COVID-19 vaccine mandates, Just the News (JN) reports. Titled Defeat the Mandates, the march began with a rally outside the Lincoln Memorial, and was also attended by virologist and immunologist Dr. Robert Malone, a pioneer of mRNA vaccine technology and a COVID-19 vaccine skeptic.
Addressing the rally, Malone asserted: “These vaccines do not prevent Omicron infection, viral replication or spread to others. These genetic vaccines are leaky, they have poor durability, and even if every man, woman, and child in the United States were vaccinated, they cannot achieve herd immunity and stop COVID.”
On the other hand, Malone continued: “The natural immunity which healthy immune systems develop after infection and recovery from COVID is long-lasting, broad, and highly protective from disease and death caused by this virus … If there is risk, there must be choice. This is the fundamental bedrock truth of modern bioethics.”
As Just the News points out, the validity of COVID-19 vaccines has been passionately and heatedly debated – and many thousands of people around the world have joined demonstrations against their country’s respective vaccine mandates. Moreover federal officials have acknowledged that COVID-19 vaccines have caused more adverse reactions than usual, including suspected death, heart inflammation, and blood clotting.
Nevertheless, JN reports: “Federal and state health officials say vaccines and boosters can keep most patients from getting the most serious cases of COVID-19 leading to hospitalization and death, while acknowledging the vaccine protections wane over time and do allow for breakthrough infections in many Americans…[Federal officials] believe serious vaccine reactions are still fairly rare and in most cases their protections outweigh the risks.”
