UN Atomic Agency Has Now Lost Track Of Iran’s Nuclear Advancement

(Worthy News) – The UN’s nuclear watchdog has admitted it no longer knows how much uranium ore concentrate Iran has accumulated or how many centrifuges and other inventory required for multiple nuclear bombs it has now produced, the Jerusalem Post reports.

While Iran claims its advancing nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, the rogue Islamic regime in Tehran is exceedingly belligerent and is the world’s primary state sponsor of terrorism.

Western powers have long sought to curb Iran’s ability to produce nuclear weapons, including through UN inspections, the Obama-era Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action treaty, and sanctions. Nevertheless, the IAEA has reported that Iran has all the enriched uranium it needs to build a bomb and requires only the political decision to do it.

Addressing the Board of Governors for the International Atomic Energy Agency on Monday, IAEA Chief Rafael Grossi said concerning Iran’s nuclear capabilities that his agency “has lost continuity of knowledge about the production and inventory of centrifuges, rotors and bellows, heavy water and uranium ore concentrate,” JPost reports.

“It is three years since Iran stopped provisionally applying its additional protocol and therefore it is also three years since the agency was able to conduct complementary access in Iran,” Grossi said. “Public statements made in Iran regarding its technical capabilities to produce nuclear weapons only increase my concerns about the correctness and completeness of Iran’s safeguard declarations.”

Moreover, Grossi attested: “You will note that Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium continues to increase, even though the level of uranium enriched up to 60% has fallen slightly…There has been no progress in resolving the outstanding safeguard issues.”
