Israel Claims Iran is Allegedly Smuggling Weapons into Jordan to Establish a New Terror Front

(Worthy News) – Israel’s Foreign Minister has accused Iran of smuggling weapons and cash through Jordan to terrorist proxies in Judea and Samaria, and of attempting to destabilize Jordan, thus establishing a new terror front along Israel’s eastern border.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz posted on X, accusing the Iranian Revolutionary Guard of collaborating with Hamas operatives in Lebanon to smuggle weapons and funds into Jordan, with the aim of destabilizing the regime.

Katz further stated that from Jordan, weapons and substantial sums of money are smuggled across the eastern border into Judea and Samaria, particularly targeting refugee camps. This effort aims to establish a pro-Iranian Islamic terror front, similar to those in Gaza, Lebanon, and other areas, with the ultimate target being Tel Aviv and other major population centers in Israel.

“The Iranian axis of evil today effectively controls refugee camps in Judea and Samaria through its proxies, leaving the Palestinian Authority powerless to act,” Katz stated on the Social Platform X. “We must take terror hubs like the Jenin refugee camp and carry out a thorough operational campaign to dismantle the terror infrastructure in the camp.”

“This is a shared interest of Israel, many regional states, and the entire free world to halt the spread of Iran’s axis of evil,” Mr. Katz stated.

Katz also emphasized the need to expedite the construction of the eastern barrier along the border with Jordan to prevent weapons smuggling from Jordan into Israel, a threat to both the Jordanian regime and the State of Israel.
