Taliban Kills Christian Aid Worker In Afghanistan

The Islamic militant group Taliban said Monday, October 20, its gunmen killed a Christian aid worker in the capital Kabul because she was spreading Christianity in Afghanstan.

The Washington-DC based human rights group, International Christian Concern (ICC) www.persecution.org has just learned that 16 Christians were kidnapped at gunpoint in Peshawar, Pakistan on June 21, 2008, and have since been released.

UN Envoy Rushes To Prevent Execution Afghanistan Aid Workers

KABUL/BUDAPEST, (ANS) — The United Nations special envoy to Afghanistan rushed to the country’s Capital Kabul Saturday (August 11), to prevent the execution of 24 aid workers, who have been charged by the Islamic rulers with spreading Christianity.
