JERUSALEM, ISRAEL (Worthy News)– Israel Air Forces (IAF) attacked a number of terror related targets Wednesday night after rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip for the third time this week.

At roughly 9:20, two rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip, setting off Color Red Alert sirens in Sderot and surrounding areas. One of the rockets fell near a structure causing light damage, while another landed in an open field.

On Sunday evening, two rockets were launched by terrorists from the Gaza Strip at the city of Ashkelon in Southern Israel; however the threats were neutralized by the Iron Dome Missile Defense System.

IAF fighter jets targeted a center of terror activity, three arms production and storage facilities in Northern Gaza, and another area of terrorist activity in the Southern Strip.

Besieged Palestinian Gaza is an experiment in provocation. Stuff one and a half million people into a tiny space, stifle their access to water, electricity, food and medical treatment, destroy their livelihoods, and humiliate them regularly…and, surprise, surprise – they turn hostile. Now why would you want to do that experiment? Because the hostility you provoke is the whole point. Now under attack you can cast yourself as the victim, and call out the helicopter gunships and the F16 attack fighters and the heavy tanks and the guided missiles, and destroy yet more of the pathetic remains of infrastructure that the Palestinian state still has left. And then you can point to it as a hopeless case, unfit to govern itself, a terrorist state, a state with which you couldn't possibly reach an accommodation. And then you can carry on with business as usual, quietly stealing their homeland.

Hi John, you have your facts wrong. Israel didn't "stuff" the Palestinians into Gaza. In 1947/48, the Arabs living in what would become Israel were coerced into Gaza by the Arabs who were intent on destroying Israel and wiping out the Jews one day after Israel was officially declared a nation. Those Arabs became refugees after the failed attempt by the Arabs to destroy Israel. They were made refugees not by Israel, but by the surrounding Arab nations.

To your comments about the low standard of living (lack of water, food, utilities, jobs, etc.) You should realize that before August of 2005 Israelis employed many of those Gazan Palestinians who are currently unemployed. Israel disengaged from Gaza and left Gaza in the hands of the Palestinians and under the control of Hamas. Under Israeli control, the Gazan Palestinians enjoyed a far higher standard of living than they do now under the control of Hamas and just recently both Hamas and the PA.

It was Hamas, not Israel that has blocked any and all humanitarian aid from Israel. Things like milk and fresh fruits and vegetables that are produced in Israel are banned from Gaza per the government of Hamas. Medical supplies provided by Israel have been sold to buy more weapons. A school for blind children built by Israel for the Palestinians was shut down by the PA and converted into a weapons depot/armory. I could go on to list many, many more things Israel has done to improve the Palestinian standard of living in both the West Bank and Gaza only to have the Palestinians kick them in the teeth.

As for jobs… when Israel left Gaza in August of 2005, they left behind hundreds of farms and greenhouses that were used to export flowers, fruits and vegetables. These farms and greenhouses would have supplied much in the way of gainful employment and prosperity for the Gazan Palestinians but they burned them all down. The Palestinians burned down their only source of income and now they are left with nothing.

In short, their problems are self-inflicted. In 2006, they elected Hamas to be their representative government, but Hamas has done nothing for them except ban all humanitarian aid from Israel that they enjoyed prior to 2008. Hamas can't effectively govern the region because they wanted power not to govern, but to further their agenda to destroy Israel. They care not one bit about the welfare of the Gazan Palestinians. Instead they use them as cannon fodder and human shields in their war of attrition against Israel.

Israel has always been willing to make peace with the Palestinians and it was promised to Israel that if they left Gaza and allowed the Palestinians the opportunity to govern themselves that there would be peace. But when it was proven that they can't govern themselves, Israel was to blame for that, as well. Suddenly the history revisionists come out of the woodwork and claim that Gaza is a ghetto or a place that Israel "stuffed" the Palestinians into.

Israel did not make the Palestinians refugees. Israel has, on the other hand, made serious concessions in the name of peace and was repaid with bloodshed. You completely overlook all of the sacrifices and risky concessions Israel has made in the past. Israel didn't ask for terrorism and they don't deserve it. The problems that exist between Israel and the Palestinians are due to the fact that the Palestinians continue to promote a posture of belligerence with the nation of Israel. Israel did not create the refugee problem and it is unfair and unreasonable to lay the blame for actions of the Palestinians on Israel's doorstep. Israel did not make the Palestinians refugees and it is unfair to expect Israel to resolve a refugee crisis they didn't create.

        Hello David,

You're good. Israel recruits and pays talented propagandists.

Israel kills Palestinian families and children with American attack jets and white phosphorous. Israel jails Palestinians and Palestinian children cruelly and indefinitely. Israel defines itself as a Jewish state and, by supremacist apartheid enforcement, validates that definition. We Americans resist believing, or even comprehending, the horror. This June 18, 2012 excerpt from Times of India facilitates understanding of the Jewish state's behavior.

RABBI OVADIA Rabbi Ovadia Yosef is the former Chief Rabbi of Israel and the spiritual leader of the Shas party, Israels “kingmaker” party. In a sermon given on Saturday on laws concerning what non-Jews are permitted to do on Shabbat, Yosef said: "Goyim” [non-Jews] were born only to serve us. Without that, they have no place in the world – only to serve the People of Israel. Why are gentiles needed? They will work, they will plow, they will reap. We will sit like an effendi and eat." According to Yosef, death has "no dominion" over non-Jews in Israel. "With gentiles, it will be like any person – they need to die, but [God] will give them longevity. Why? Imagine that one’s donkey would die, they’d lose their money. This is his servant… That’s why he gets a long life, to work well for this Jew.”

MENACHEM BEGIN "Our race is the Master Race. We Jews are divine gods on this planet. We are as different from the inferior races as they are from insects. In fact, compared to our race, other races are beasts and animals, cattle at best. Other races are considered as human excrement. Our destiny is to rule over the inferior races. Our earthly kingdom will be ruled by our leader with a rod of iron. The masses will lick our feet and serve us as our slaves."

        Hi John.

No, I am not Israeli. I am an American and I was not paid to say what I said. I am an American Christian who loves Israel and I have taken the time to actually study the facts about the history and dynamics of this conflict. The facts and truth are on my side in this discussion.

Israel isn’t targeting Palestinian families. What you seem to be ignoring is that Israel only acts in self-defense and Israel targets the terrorists. The families of Palestinians die as a result of the Palestinian tactic of intentionally placing noncombatants in harm’s way in order to ramp up the civilian casualty rates.

Israel jails terrorists and unfortunately, the Palestinians recruit children to carry out acts of terror. Children who should be learning mathematics, music, art, literature, who should be play sports are indoctrinated by the Palestinian school system that Jews are descended from apes and pigs and that Jews need to be exterminated from the earth. They are teaching children how to make bombs and filling them with dehumanizing lies about Jews. Israel isn’t acting cruelly. Israel is acting in self-defense. Israel is not kidnapping innocent Palestinian children who were making mud pies by the curb. They arrested children many of whom are teens because of their involvement in terror.

That Israel defines itself as Jewish state is no different than other countries who also identify themselves as ethnic states. (China, Arab countries, Korea, Japan, Germany, the Netherlands, etc.)

As for the apartheid remark, I would remind you that Israel has over Two million Arab/Palestinian citizens, Arab representation in Parliament, and Arabs citizens in Israel enjoy freedom of religion, freedom of speech and freedom of the press. Those are freedoms that would not be available to them in any Arab nation. Furthermore Israel gives Arabs, even those non-citizens, equal access to Israel’s judiciary and they can bring grievance against Jewish Israeli citizens. In fact, in cases where Palestinians have brought lawsuits against Jewish Israeli citizens, they have won something like 45% of those cases. Israel also allows Palestinians to take advantage free universal healthcare at the expense of the Israeli taxpayer.

So your claims that Israel has apartheid policies simply do not square with the facts on the ground. I would also point out that it is Palestinians who want a Palestinian nation completely free of the Jews. They would not allow one Jew to live in the West Bank or Gaza if those two pieces of land were finally declared a Palestinian state. They are the one’s exercising apartheid polices, not the Israelis.

The quote you cite from Menachem Begin is a hoax. There is no reliable source for that quote anywhere. There is no basis in truth for that quote.

The quote from Ovadia Yosef is genuine but you fail to mention that was rejected by Israelis and Jews in the United States. Jews roundly condemned him all over the world for his comments. Ovadia Yosef doesn’t speak for all of Israel and much less for all Jews.

So your information is really not based in facts or truth, but is rooted in baseless and empty conspiracy theories.
