(Worthy News) – The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that Iran is poised to conduct Operation True Promise III involving extensive missile strikes on U.S. and Israeli targets, according to a recent interview translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

In a February 18, 2025, during an interview with IRINN TV, IRGC Aerospace Force Commander General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh confirmed that Operation True Promise III, which involves large-scale missile attacks on Israel, will “definitely” occur at the appropriate time. He emphasized that Iran intends to fully capitalize on this legitimate opportunity when it arises.

He noted that Operation True Promise II in October 2024 was restricted to 200 missiles due to governmental pressures, but assured that the next operation would be significantly larger.

Hajizadeh added that there are “enough American targets” near Iran that can be hit with inexpensive missiles, removing the need for launching ICBMs from Iran.
