Following the most intense Israeli airstrikes in Gaza since the ceasefire ended, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned Israel’s military operations, labeling it “a terror state that feeds on blood.”

At a Ramadan fast-breaking dinner with military personnel, Erdogan stated, “The Zionist regime has once again shown that it is a terror state that feeds on the blood, lives and tears of the innocent with its brutal attacks on Gaza last night.”

President Tayyip Erdogan announced on Tuesday that Turkey will intensify its diplomatic efforts to restore peace and a ceasefire in Gaza, aiming to halt the killing of innocent people. “Turkey stands by the people of Gaza and our Palestinian brothers… We will continue to increase our diplomatic efforts to stop the massacres and to restore peace and a ceasefire,” Erdogan stated during a fast-breaking meal with students of the National Defence University.
