(Worthy News)—Internal messages show that the FBI ordered agents to stop discussing Hunter Biden’s laptop just hours after one of its own inadvertently confirmed its authenticity to Twitter.

Catherine Herridge and Michael Shellenberger revealed that FBI chat logs obtained by House committees show top officials swiftly shut down internal discussions after an agent accidentally confirmed the Hunter Biden laptop’s authenticity—coinciding with the New York Post’s bombshell report on October 14, 2020.

According to Herridge’s report, the FBI’s former Russia unit chief told House investigators in a closed-door interview: “I recall that when the question came up, an intelligence analyst assigned to the Criminal Investigative Division said something to the effect of, ‘Yes, the laptop is real.’”

Soon after, an FBI lawyer stepped in, saying, “We will not comment further on this topic,” according to the transcript.

Heavily redacted FBI chat logs given to Congress show messages marked “OGC AGC,” pointing to the Office of General Counsel. One message to Special Agent Elvis Chan referenced a “gag order” on the laptop, while another told him, “please do not discuss biden matter.”

In one exchange, Chan asked, “actually what kind of case is the laptop thing? corruption? campaign financing?” Another agent replied, “CLOSE HOLD —” (rest redacted). Chan responded, “Oh crap. Ok. It ends here.”

The FBI had Hunter Biden’s laptop since December 2019 and knew the files came from a Delaware repair shop—not Russia. Yet after warning Big Tech and discrediting the story, the Bureau stayed silent as 51 ex-intel officials and Joe Biden falsely claimed it was Russian disinfo.

FACEBOOK INVOLVED IN COVERING UP BIDEN LAPTOP STORY

A congressional investigation found that before The New York Post‘s 2020 report, the FBI warned tech companies of a possible Russian disinformation dump resembling Hunter Biden’s laptop. When the story broke, Facebook execs discussed censorship tactics to align with the expected Biden-Harris administration.

Facebook chat logs, cited in a House Judiciary subcommittee report, show the FBI primed social media platforms by warning of possible Russian “fake news” involving Hunter Biden and Ukraine. So when The Post published its laptop story, one Facebook employee immediately dismissed it as the “exact content expected for hack and leak.”

When Worthy News covered the story in 2020, it was blocked from reporting throughout the election cycle on Facebook for 90 days — and once blacklisted, it was also suppressed across major search engines as well.

A poll conducted by the Technometrica Institute of Policy and Politics (TIPP) found that 79% of respondents who were aware of the story believed that “truthful” media coverage could have changed the election’s result in 2020.
