JERUSALEM, ISRAEL (Worthy News)– Israel Defense Forces (IDF) twitter account was compromised last night when a hacker group posted a warning about a “nuclear leak” and “long live Palestine.”
The Syrian Electronic Army claimed responsibility for hacking the IDF’s @IDFSpokesperson twitter account.
Both messages were quickly deleted and an apology was issued.
“We apologize for the incorrect tweets. Our twitter account was compromised. We will combat terror on all fronts including the cyber dimension,” the account tweeted.
