AGATU (Worthy News)– Fulani Muslim herdsmen killed at least 80 villagers in a March 15 attack against a Christian village in Agatu, Nigeria, according to Barnabas Aid.
Attacking Agatu in the early morning hours, the Muslims murdered scores of villagers as they slept. After the attack, they then razed the village to the ground.
Ethnic Fulani Muslims often attack Christian villages in Nigeria, killing Christians and burning down churches. But Christians in north-eastern Nigeria must also endure the violent Islamist insurgency of Boko Haram, which targets Western educational institutions.
