California Teachers Likely to Be Persecuted for Speaking Out Against Homosexuality

(AgapePress) The California State Board of Education has voted in favor of pushing homosexuality on children and teachers in public and private schools.

Randy Thomasson, Director of Campaign for California Families, says the state board has voted in favor of new so-called “educational equity” regulations–regulations, he says, that could result in a teacher or volunteer at a Christian school suffering state persecution for saying that homosexual behavior is unhealthy or immoral.

“The liberal governor [of California], Gray Davis, is advancing the Democratic Party agenda of homosexuality,” Thomasson says. “His appointees to the State Board of Education are now not only pushing homosexuality on the public school children, but they’re more than willing to push the homosexual agenda upon private Christian schools.”

Thomasson says that pushing the homosexual agenda on private schools is “absolutely horrible,” and that free speech and religious freedom will be trampled by these board regulations, which include a prohibition on so-called “unwelcome comments or slurs.”

“These regulations are so bad,” he says, “that they will actually allow a student at a Christian school to be punished, or a teacher to be disciplined, or even a volunteer parent to be persecuted with some type of state pressures if they even said that homosexuality was unhealthy or immoral.”

The pro-family activist goes on to say that Governor Davis has appointed pro-homosexual liberals to the state board in order to force the homosexual agenda on public and private schools. In fact, the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network recently held a conference in San Francisco, targeting schoolchildren for indoctrination.

The state of California is also headed down the same trail. Thomasson says the California Assembly is considering a bill that would fund two-million dollars for so-called “tolerance field trips,” so that children could attend homosexual meetings.

“It’s blatant,” he says. “The lions are out of the box, they’re over the wall, they’re coming for your children. They want to integrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender education into the school experience. We must get involved now, we must take a stand.” He says if people don’t know how to do that, his organization will help them.

Thomasson says there are numerous anti-family bills pending in the California Assembly, and that homosexual groups like the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network blatantly attempt to brainwash children into thinking that homosexuality is completely normal.

Thomasson had this to say: “If parents knew this was going on, they’d flip. Children as young as kindergarten [are] being targeted with indoctrination in the classroom, teaching kids that young that they may be born ‘gay.’ [They are] asking kids, ‘Well, how do you know you’re heterosexual if you’ve never had a gay experience?’”

The homosexuals are getting plenty of help from Governor Davis’ administration. Democrat Jack Scott is pushing the Assembly bill which would fund two-million dollars for the “tolerance field trips.”
