Philipines: Mulsims militants kill Christians on Christmas Eve

By Joseph DeCaro, Worthy News Correspondent

(Worthy News) – Nine Christians were killed as hundreds of Muslim militants raided Christian villages in the southern island of Mindanao, Philippines, on Dec. 24.

According to Barnabas Aid, the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters were behind the holiday raids.

An off-shoot of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, the BIFF broke away from the MILF when the latter entered into peace talks with the government in 2008. Although the MILF has killed hundreds while displacing about 750,000 Christians living in Mindanao, the BIFF is now terrorizing the island in its attempt to establish an independent Islamic state.

And should the Philippine government create a semi-independent Islamic sub-state on Mindanao, large populations of non-Muslims trapped inside its borders will be subjected to sharia.
