Vietnam: ‘Accident’ kills pastor, Christian convert

By Joseph DeCaro, Worthy News Correspondent

(Worthy News) – As Pastor Dang Ba Nham, his wife and a church elder were praying with a recent convert to Christianity along a busy roadside, a large pickup truck with military plates suddenly veered across the street and struck them.

According to Morning Star News, Nham died at the scene; his wife underwent surgery for upper body injuries while church elder Hoang Ngoc Hung was transported to Hanoi in grave condition.

Convert Phan Thi Thanh Huyen died of her injuries the following day.

Nham was an evangelist who was recently warned to stop sharing his faith in Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh provinces; therefore, not everyone in the north central coast of Vietnam believes this was all just an accident.

people are currently praying.
