(Worthy News) – A Christian in eastern Uganda who had recently received death threats was murdered on June 4.
According to Morning Star News, Yokannah Zirinkuma of Kasasira village, Kibuku District, was found in a pool of blood. His body was taken to Kadama Hospital where an autopsy revealed that Zirinkuma’s injuries were consistent with that of a struggle.
Zirinkuma, 50, was a widower who is survived by two daughters, ages 22 and 17. He was well known for preaching in a local marketplace where Muslims had come to Christ, no doubt prompting the warnings Zirinkuma received that were written in Arabic.
Only 11 percent of Ugandans are Muslims while 85 percent are Christians.
