Hillary Clinton Cancels West Coast Swing, Undergoing Treatment for Pneumonia


(Worthy News) – Hillary Clinton has been suffering from pneumonia, her doctor said Sunday, hours after the Democratic nominee abruptly left a 9/11 memorial service because she “felt overheated.”

On Friday, Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia, and “put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule,” Dr. Lisa Bardack said in a statement. [ Source ]

Hillary Clinton cancels West Coast swing following health scare

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton canceled a trip to the West Coast where she was going to hold campaign events Monday and Tuesday following a health scare this weekend at a Sept. 11 ceremony, according to multiple news reports Sunday evening.

Clinton, 68, was scheduled to fly out to California Monday, and appear at fundraisers and deliver a speech on the economy on Monday and Tuesday. She was also planning to appear on “The Ellen Degeneres Show.” [ Source ]

Hillary Clinton left a ceremony commemorating the 15th anniversary of Sept. 11 early on Sunday after suffering from a minor medical episode, according to multiple reports.

“Secretary Clinton attended the September 11th Commemoration Ceremony for just an hour and thirty minutes this morning to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen,” Clinton campaign spokesman Nick Merrill said in a statement shortly after Fox News first reported the incident.
