(Worthy News) - Two Iranian Christians were sentenced to a total of eight years in prison by a revolutionary court in December 2017, after being convicted of national security-related crimes.

Suroush Saraie and Eskandar Rezaie, who are both members of the Church of Iran denomination, each received seven year sentences for ‘creating a group that works against national security’, and an additional year for ‘propaganda against the state.’ Both men are appealing the verdict, which was handed down on 28 December 2017 by the 4th Chamber of the Revolutionary Court in Shiraz.

During the same court hearing, a Christian woman named Zahra Norouzi Kashkouli was sentenced to a year in prison for ‘being a member of a group working against the system.’ She too is appealing the sentence. [ Source: CSW (Read More...) ]

  1. It does not say whether these three actually were working against their countries government or for political reasons.

The Dr. Jerry Prevo, former Trustee of Liberty University, USA, routinely promotes the GOP in and from his Anchorage Baptist Temple, in Anchorage, AK. When GOP Senator Ted Stevens died, the memorial was held (and Dr. Prevo officiated) there.

To donate to the Alaskan Republican Party, in Alaska, it goes to one and the same mailing address as that's where the GOP Treasurer's address is also. He's also one of The Anchorage Baptist Temple's leaders.

To work at ABT, one has to sign up to attend "church" there. New members and even new attendees are hit up soon after first showing their faces to "work" at ABT, usually in the Children's Bus Ministry.

    It's a cult!

And televised. Real Christ-followers should have nothing to do with it. A "Church" doesn't need to be into praying to masses of dead "saints" to be a cult. Nor does it need to be poor. The USA has an Official Policy of denying that God (and god) exists and yet, it is rich by 90% of the world's standards. China is adamantly atheist and is becoming richer and richer each day.

The Bible never said Pagan means poor.
