(Worthy News) - A student opened fire Tuesday at Marshall County High School in Benton, Ky., killing two fellow students and injuring 18 others, officials said, in a shooting that caused panic and anguish in the school and across the community.

During an evening news conference, Kentucky State Police Commissioner Richard Sanders said the suspect, a 15-year-old boy, was in custody and would be charged with two counts of murder and several counts of attempted murder.

Authorities were seen escorting a handcuffed boy away from the scene earlier in the day. Details on a possible motive were unclear. [ Source: Fox News (Read More...) ]

  1. The very first thing that a woman fleeing domestic violence in the US/UK/Canada learns on entry into a Safe House, is to choose safety from them on. It colors all her decisions from then on, if she heeds it.

    It's basic. Choose safety.

Perhaps, with it's long history of shootings in the USA now, their public school system is not safe for anyone's children?

Home schooling is legal in all 50 states and some schools, like the Calvert Academy, are accredited in all 50 US states and perhaps all the US territories also (have to check on that part). Parents can opt in or out for partial helps, Teacher validation or not of grades and testings. Parents can do it from overseas also. They have both mail-in and online.

No one has to send their kid to US public schools, not if they're unsafe.

Better to live on food banks, food stamps, Medicaid, hand outs, clothing banks, etc. than to not do the job of parenting right. it just takes more humility than the average US Christian has.

It's in the Shema. That's basics, in the Bible, and every Jew who's gone to a meeting or Torah Study has heard it too. What about Christians? Read your Bible lately?
