(Worthy News) - The U.S. Senate on Monday blocked a bill that would have banned most abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, sponsored by Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and backed by President Donald Trump, would have imposed a penalty of up to five years in prison for those who attempted to perform an abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy. The woman getting the abortion would not be punished.

The bill failed 51-46 mostly along party lines. It fell short of the 60 votes Republicans needed to prevent a Democratic filibuster. [ Source: UPI (Read More...) ]

  1. Wait a minute. The woman getting the abortion would not get prosecuted? Oh, because...why? She has to sign for it to be done. In few (if any) cases it can't be done without her asking, then agreeing, to it.

it's not like doctors are running around on the streets asking women who are obviously pregnant to have abortions. Sure, there are some parents and others who coerce pregnant females to have abortions. Esp in the USA.

Still, why are we not calling abortion like it is? It is the gross selfishness of the "mother" to just wipe out all traces of her fornications/adulteries by killing the most innocent in the transactions.

It's time to call these mothers what they are, sinners (who can be saved by the grace of God). However, until they do, they are murderers, that is, those whose unborn babies are not stolen from their wombs, which most certainly does is also happening in the good ole USA also. Just don't assume the mothers are not guilty. Most of them are. We focus on the abortionist, what about the woman in college who does a human sacrifice (the unborn) to make way for her to have the career she believes she needs to have a life.

Then, she wonders at being all alone in this world at age 45 because men are no longer breathing down her neck for sex anymore.
