Trump promises ‘one of the largest military buildups’ in history


(Worthy News) – President Donald Trump said he is overseeing a massive military buildup in remarks to troops at California’s Marine Corps Air Station Miramar on Tuesday.

Trump said the U.S. military has been “asked to do more with less” citing deferred modernization and maintenance as well as longer deployments, and fewer troops and resources along with other issues.

“The Trump administration is committed to a policy of peace through strength,” Trump said. “We are now undertaking one of the largest military buildups since Ronald Reagan and one of the largest military buildups we’ve ever had in the history of our nation.” [ Source: UPI (Read More…) ]
