Evangelical leaders downplay potential Roe v. Wade reversal

Supreme Court, Washington D.C.

(Worthy News) - For evangelical Christian leaders like Jerry Falwell Jr., this is their political holy grail.

Like many religious conservatives in a position to know, the Liberty University president with close ties to the White House suspects that the Supreme Court vacancy President Donald Trump fills in the coming months will ultimately lead to the reversal of the landmark abortion case Roe v. Wade.

But instead of celebrating publicly, some evangelical leaders are downplaying their fortune on an issue that has defined their movement for decades.

"What people don't understand is that if you overturn Roe v. Wade, all that does is give the states the right to decide whether abortion is legal or illegal," Falwell told The Associated Press in an interview. "My guess is that there'd probably be less than 20 states that would make abortion illegal if given that right." [ Source: Washington Examiner (Read More...) ]

  1. I do not doubt that our God (and Father of Jesus, the Messiah) will, indeed, overturn Roe v Wade.

The problem then is what and how will the nation called the USA respond?

When we have small children running and playing, once more, in front yards from sea to sea, and schools being built once again; when the PTA is the place to be and most restaurants are once more child friendly, what then?

I'll tell you. The cull (of humans) will then turn to the old and ugly, the infirm and financially draining. While the USA once more gains gifted and internationally acclaimed students, resulting in extraordinarily great homegrown employees. However those who make their living (attempting to) control whole (unproductive) domestic populations they, likewise, will not be able to resist attempting to cull our human herd's oldies and uglies.

It all comes from too many lacking any faith in the God who really does exist. The One who cares for each and every one of us, demented, or not. Those without families will become like the Homeless (and the Stranded/Displaced) populating (littering, is the more apt word) every inner city and most countrysides too.

Those who spend so much time attempting to control whole nations populations growth manage to avoid looking at inevitable "acts of God" which do the same and more. Not that they - earthquakes, wars (think Syria, lately) and forest fires, swine/spanish flu's, and cholera. Tsunamis, and sun spots etc. All are accused to be God's actions. What truly causes those things are man's actions, just as often, man's inactions, and as the Bible puts it "all creation groans."

Roe v Wade will be overturned.

Who are going to adopt the then born who won't have decent homes to live in otherwise?

When are Christians, Messianics, and (real) Nazarenes going to get the Psychobabbel out of the US adoption process? Because that's what is messing up the US Foster Care system right now already. Imagine if no decent parent can adopt because they put their trust in God's Messiah instead of to a sicko like Sigmund Freud and/or Carl Jung?

Freud founded his Psychology and Psychoanalysis on the foundation that infants have sexual feelings and that children can seek sex. You know, that whole package of garbage the Pedophiles put their hope in so much it climbs to the status of being their Faith.

    Roe v Wade will overturn.

So, when is the USA going to begin to get ready for that to happen?
