(Worthy News) – The United States on Monday joined the European Union in denouncing remarks by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, who, on Saturday, called Israel a “cancerous tumor” established by Western countries to advance their interests in the Middle East.
“We condemn the outrageous comments by Iran’s Rouhani,” Jason Greenblatt, US President Donald Trump’s envoy to the Middle East peace process, said in a tweet.
“Rouhani continues to spread the Iranian regime’s hateful & destructive ideology instead of improving Iranian lives,” Greenblatt added. [ Source: Times of Israel (Read More…) ]
