U.S., China agree to trade war truce

(Worthy News) – President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed to a truce between the two countries’ trade war after a meeting Saturday at the G20 summit in Argentina.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said Trump promised not to go through with a planned hike — from 10 percent to 25 percent — on $200 billion worth of Chinese products.

In exchange, Xi agreed to purchase a “very substantial” amount of agricultural, energy and industrial product from the United States. [ Source: UPI (Read More…) ]
