(Worthy News) - Sixty percent of Americans say abortion should be legal in all or most cases, the most in ABC News/Washington Post polls since 1995. More also say their state should make it easier, rather than harder, for women to have access to abortion, with a plurality favoring no change in the status quo.

Most of the change in support for legal abortion is among Americans who say it should be legal “in all cases,” now 27%, matching the high 24 years ago and up 11 percentage points from its low in early 2007. An additional 33% say it should be legal in most cases in this poll, produced for ABC by Langer Research Associates.

The rest, 36%, say abortion should be illegal in all or most cases, down from 45% as recently as 2010 and a high of 48% in 2001. This includes 14% who say abortion should be illegal in all cases, about half as many as say it always should be legal. [ Source: ABC News (Read More...) ]

  1. Seems (to me) that too many people are taking their cue as to what to believe from those Legislators who created a bill and then voted (as in New York) it into law, a no holds barred permissions to do abortions. Then, other Legislators, in other US States followed suit.

We liked it when it was Pro-Lifer's doing it, in US state after state after state (also) but what is bothersome is that voter's in the USA seem to find the "rightness" of their opinions in the secular laws constantly in flux in their State.

Euthanasia is horrible, and illegal...until some State legislates it is okay. Then, because it's legal (as in Oregon) people with rights to vote (adults) change their opinions on it.

This can only happen in a country where the majority are not asking God what His opinion on any one subject is. This is what happens in a country where the individual farmers are age 58, (according to the U.S. Labor Dept). People no longer need to trust in God for the wisdom to simply stay alive when we move off of an agriculturally based income and society. Christianity has eroded in direct proportion to the loss of family farms there.
