U.S. carries out airstrike on Islamic State in Somalia

(Worthy News) – The United States conducted an airstrike it said killed one member of the Islamic State in Somalia, military officials announced Sunday.
U.S. Africa Command said it carried out the airstrike targeting members of IS — also identified as ISIS, ISIL and Daesh — Saturday the Golis Mountain region of Somalia in coordination with Somalia’s federal government. [ Source:UPI (Read More…) ]
