(Worthy News) – The Bahamas were feeling the full force of Hurricane Dorian on Monday as the storm swept across the archipelago with 185mph winds, leading the prime minister of the islands to report that “devastation is unprecedented”.
Bahamian Prime Minister Hubert Minnis said the Abaco Islands, which on Sunday received the full brunt of Dorian, had been seriously damaged. The hurricane came ashore as the most powerful storm ever to hit the archipelago.
The storm’s toll was still untallied nearly 24 hours after it made landfall as a Category Five with sustained winds of 185 mph. [ Source: UK Telegraph (Read More…) ]
