CDC: More than 40% of U.S. adults are obese

(Worthy News) – More than 40 percent of American adults are obese, according to new data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics.
Released Thursday, the new numbers show the prevalence of obesity among U.S. adults has steadily increased since 2011.
And more than 9 percent of Americans have severe obesity, a figure that has nearly doubled over the first two decades of the 21st century. [ Source: UPI (Read More…) ]
