Christians continue to be slaughtered in Nigeria “killing field,” Please Pray

(Worthy News) – Christians in continue to be slaughtered with impunity and, on Sunday night, suspected Fulani militants murdered more than 30 people in the Madamai and Abun villages of Kaduna state on Sunday night, International Concern (ICC) reports.

The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law reported in July that 3,462 Christians had already been killed in Nigeria this year alone. In its 2021 annual report, the United States Commission on International said Nigeria is a “killing field of Christians.” Most of the killing has been by Fulani Islamic extremists, with the remainder by and West .

“Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen were said to have invaded the villages and fired gunshots indiscriminately,” a source told Sahara Reporters. “No less than 15 houses were burnt by the attackers”.

“The incident comes a few hours after one person was killed, while several others sustained injuries in an attack at Evangelical Winning All (ECWA),” Sahara Reporters said. “The gunmen were said to have attacked worshippers during the Sunday morning service.”

ICC has issued another call for : “Please pray for peace in Nigeria, and for the Lord to comfort those grieving the loss of loved ones due to violence. Please also pray for the perpetrators of these attacks, that they will be blessed with knowing the truth of the and accept Jesus as their savior.”
