President Herzog: ‘Israel is on the verge of a constitutional and social collapse’

(Worthy News) – Israel’s president called for greater dialogue between the Right and Left, warning Sunday that the country is descending into a major social crisis.
In a televised address Sunday evening, President Isaac Herzog reiterated his call on the Netanyahu government and the Opposition to reach a compromise on the proposed judicial reform plan.
“Some of the things I am going to say tonight may not be pleasant to one side or the other. Over the past few weeks, I have worked with all my strength to bring about a broad agreement [for a compromise]. If one side manages to force its [position] over the other, and it doesn’t matter who prevails, Israeli society as a whole will lose.” [ Source: Arutz Sheva (Read More…) ]
