US economy added roughly 200,000 jobs in June, Labor Department report

(Worthy News) – The United States added 209,000 jobs in June and the monthly unemployment rate dropped to a five-decade low, the Labor Department reported Friday.
The unemployment rate fell to 3.6% in June, compared to 3.7% the previous month.
Economists have been predicting a recession later this year, due to the high interest rates. However, U.S. employers are continuing to add jobs, following deep cuts in the job market during the COVID-19 pandemic. [ Source: Just the News (Read More…) ]
