What is Disease X? UK scientists begin work on vaccine for new pandemic

(Worthy News) – Scientists in the UK have begun developing vaccines to ensure the public is protected against a new pandemic caused by an unknown “Disease X”.
The work is being carried out at the government’s high-security Porton Down laboratory complex in Wiltshire, which is the UK Health and Security Agency’s (UKHSA) science and defence technology campus, by a team of more than 200 scientists.
They hope that by carrying out this work, future pandemics are stopped in their tracks and will not cause the same disruption to everyday life as Covid-19. [ Source (Read More…) ]
