US nurse and daughter freed after kidnapping in Haiti

(Worthy News) – U.S. nurse Alix Dorsainvil and her young daughter are free after being kidnapped and held hostage in Haiti, the Christian charity that she works for announced Wednesday.
“It is with a heart of gratitude and immense joy that we at El Roi Haiti confirm the safe release of our staff member and friend, Alix Dorsainvil and her child who were held hostage in Port au Prince, Haiti,” wrote the group, which was founded by Dorsainvil’s husband, Sandro Dorsainvil.
