Israel Death Toll Rises To 700; Body Of Half-Naked Israeli Woman Paraded In Gaza
JERUSALEM (Worthy News) – The Israeli military says the attacks launched by Hamas on Saturday are like the 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, with more than 700 people now confirmed dead in Israel. “This is our 9/11 – they got us,” says a spokesman, while another compares it to the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack by the Japanese against U.S. forces.
With Israel still fighting against militants in at least seven or eight places on its territory Monday, horrific video footage, verified by Worthy News, has emerged of a half-naked motionless German-Israeli young woman paraded half naked in the back of a pick-up truck as Hamas fighters sat on her.
As they drove her around, jubilant crowds in Gaza surrounded the armed men in combat fatigues, who shouted “Allah Akbar” or “Allah is Greatest” from the open back of the vehicle. Some young men in the crowd spit on the woman’s body before the truck sped off into the distance.
Shani Louk, in her 20s, was among hundreds of victims when Hamas targeted a music festival near the Gaza border and other Israeli communities. While her body didn’t move in the footage, Louk’s family hopes the tattoo artist is still alive, with her mother pleading for more information.
Other footage showed similar horrors, including Israeli soldiers and civilians being paraded, some dead, some injured, by Hamas militants.
A wheelchair-bound Holocaust, or Shoah, survivor was also among the hostages dragged across the border into Gaza by Hamas terrorists, United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken said.
“Indiscriminate firing of rockets against civilians. Thousands of rockets. Men, women, and children dragged across the border into Gaza, including a Holocaust survivor in a wheelchair.
People gunned down in the streets, civilians,” he said. “It should be something that revolts the entire world.”
GAZA STRIKES
The Israeli government said there were “100-plus” captives – more than previously feared. Among more than 700 people killed in Israel since Hamas launched its attacks Saturday, 260 died at a music festival, Israeli officials said.
Additionally, more than 400 people have died in Gaza after Israel launched retaliatory air strikes, according to local authorities. Israel says “most” of the breach points from Gaza into Israel have been closed, mainly with tanks.
But Israel’s military says it “can’t deny” that fighters might still be crossing into Israel from Gaza.
It has raised serious questions about intelligence gathering in Israel ahead of Saturday’s unprecedented surprise attack.
Political infighting and recent mass protests over courts also weakened the Jewish nation, commentators say. With clashes continuing, Messianic Jews and other believers are praying for Israel.
