BEIRUT/JERUSALEM (Worthy News) – A senior Hamas official has warned that his fighters will repeat the October 7 massacres in Israel until the Jewish nation is annihilated.

Ghazi Hamad, a member of Hamas’s political bureau, told Lebanese television channel LBC that “Israel is a country that has no place on our land.”

Hamas, viewed as a Palestinian “terrorist organization” by most Western countries, “must remove” Israel “because it constitutes a security, military and political catastrophe to the Arab and Islamic nation,” Hamad added. “We are not ashamed to say this.”

Video footage of the interview, obtained by Worthy News on Wednesday, also revealed that Hamad said, “Israel must be wiped off all “Palestinian lands.” He made clear that the Jewish nation should be annihilated, saying its existence is “illogical.”

“We must teach Israel a lesson, and we will do it twice and three times. The al-Aqsa Deluge [the name Hamas gave its October 7 onslaught] is just the first time,” Hamad explained. “Will we have to pay a price? Yes, and we are ready to pay for it. We are called a nation of martyrs, and we are proud to sacrifice martyrs.”

The official claimed Hamas did not seek to harm civilians but said there were “complications” on the ground when its gunmen recently killed 1,400 people, including babies, in Israel and kidnapped some 240 others.

MOUNTING EVIDENCE

He made the claims despite massive evidence and eyewitness accounts of survivors about deliberate attacks against Israeli civilians.

Killing, injuring, raping, and kidnapping civilians were part of instructions given by Hamas commanders, several sources confirmed.

However, Hamad defended the worst recorded atrocities against Jews since the Holocaust, also known as the Shoah. “We are the victims of the [Israeli] occupation. Period. Therefore, nobody should blame us for the things we do,” Hamad stressed.

“On October 7, October 10, October one-millionth, everything we do is justified,” he argued.

Israel’s government has warned, however, that it won’t be intimidated into a ceasefire and that it will “destroy” Hamas in the Gaza Strip despite hundreds of Israeli soldiers already confirmed dead in the war.

The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza says more than 8,700 people have been killed since Israel’s retaliatory bombing began on October 7.

PEOPLE FLEEING

Amid the chaos, over 400 people managed to leave Gaza as the Rafah border crossing to Egypt opened to civilians for the first time in more than three weeks, witnesses said.

Some 335 foreign passport holders and 76 injured Gazans were able to leave so far, according to Palestinian officials familiar with the situation.

British and U.S. passport holders are among those who exited the territory, officials said.

American President Joe Biden said the opening of the crossing resulted from “intense and urgent diplomacy.”

With phone and internet services completely cut, Britain’s broadcaster BBC announced it would launch an emergency radio service for Gaza on frequency MW 639kHz, starting Friday.
